Day 1

Departure from Chicago

Group assembly at Chicago O'Hare (ORD) airport. Check-in and baggage drop-off. Overnight flight to Europe. Meal served on board.

Day 2

Date : April 12, 2027

Arrival in Milan

Arrival in Europe. Layover. Fly to Milan. Meeting with the tour manager and transfer by private motorcoach to the center of Milan, the capital of Lombardy. Afternoon walking tour including the famous Duomo Cathedral (outside view) – one of the largest Gothic churches in Europe, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and a walk around the Sforza Castle. Holy Mass. Transfer to the hotel in the Milan area, check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

Date : April 13, 2027

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer towards the Veneto region, with a stop in Verona – the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet. Walk through the historic center, viewing the Roman amphitheater Arena (from the outside), the vibrant Piazza delle Erbe, and the courtyard with Juliet's house and famous balcony. Next, transfer to Padua. Visit to the Basilica of St. Anthony – one of the most important sanctuaries in Italy, where the relics of the Saint rest. Holy Mass. Transfer to the hotel in the Padua/Venice area. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Date : April 14, 2027

Breakfast. Transfer to the parking area and a boat cruise to the historic center of Venice. Guided tour: St. Mark's Square – "the most beautiful drawing room in Europe", St. Mark's Basilica (inside), the Doge's Palace (outside), the Bridge of Sighs, and a walk through picturesque streets towards the famous Rialto Bridge. Free time for individual exploration of the city on water or a cup of Italian coffee. Holy Mass. Return to the hotel in the Padua/Venice area, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5

Date : April 15, 2027

Breakfast. Departure for Pisa. Visit to the famous Field of Miracles (Campo dei Miracoli), admiring the Romanesque architecture pearls: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the iconic Leaning Tower (outside view). Time for memorable photos. Holy Mass. In the afternoon, transfer to the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany. Hotel check- in in the Florence / Montecatini Terme area, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 6

Date : April 16, 2027

Breakfast. Transfer to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Guided walking tour of the historic center: the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's famous dome (outside view), the Baptistery with the Gates of Paradise, Giotto's Bell Tower, Piazza della Signoria, the historic Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), and the Franciscan Basilica of Santa Croce. Holy Mass. Free time in the city center. Return to the hotel, dinner, and an overnight stay in Tuscany.

Day 7

Date : April 17, 2027

Breakfast. Departure to Siena, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Europe. Walk through charming, narrow streets to the shell-shaped brick square – Piazza del Campo (site of the famous Palio races). Admiring the monumental Gothic Cathedral. Holy Mass. In the afternoon, transfer through the picturesque hills of Umbria to Assisi. Hotel check-in in the Assisi area, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 8

Date : April 18, 2027

Breakfast. Full day in Assisi, the city of St. Francis and St. Clare. Visit to the monumental Basilica of St. Francis containing the Saint's tomb. Walk through the historic stone center to the Basilica of St. Clare. If possible, a visit to the Sanctuary of the Spoliation, where Blessed Carlo Acutis rests. Holy Mass. Afternoon transfer to Cascia. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in the Cascia area.

Day 9

Date : April 19, 2027

Breakfast. Morning visit to the Sanctuary of St. Rita of Cascia – the patron saint of difficult and impossible causes. Time for personal prayer by the Saint's relics. Holy Mass. Next, transfer to Orvieto – an Etruscan city majestically located on a tuff rock. Entry to the center and visit to the breathtaking Cathedral (Duomo di Orvieto), considered one of the greatest examples of Italian Gothic architecture. Transfer to the Eternal City – Rome. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10

Date : April 20, 2027

Breakfast. Transfer to the Vatican. Visit to St. Peter's Square and tour inside St. Peter's Basilica. Time for personal prayer at the tomb of St. John Paul II. In the afternoon, a walking tour of Baroque Rome: the charming Piazza Navona with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, the monumental Pantheon (outside view), the famous Trevi Fountain, and a walk towards the Colosseum (outside view) and the Imperial Fora. Holy Mass. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11

Date : April 21, 2027

Breakfast. Morning transfer to the Vatican to participate in the General Audience with the Holy Father (subject to the Pope's presence in Rome). This is a profound spiritual experience and a unique opportunity to receive the Apostolic Blessing. In the afternoon, a continuation of visiting the most important papal basilicas. Tour of the Basilica of St. John Lateran – the mother of all churches, with the possibility of climbing the Holy Stairs. Next, a visit to the Basilica of St. Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore) and the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls. Holy Mass. Return to the hotel for a festive farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 12

Date : April 22, 2027

Collection of breakfast boxes in the very early morning. Transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Flight with one stop, arraiving in Chicago in the afternoon.
