Itineraries
Day 1
Date : March 18, 2026
Departure
Evening departure from Chicago – overnight on the plane, transfer in one of the European cities (Amsterdam, London, Brussels) or sometimes Doha.
Day 2
Date : March 19, 2026
Arrival in Nairobi
Arrival in Nairobi around 9–10 pm, transfer to the mission, dinner.
Day 3
Date : March 20, 2026
Breakfast, day at Divine Mercy School - visiting our school children's families, walking to the black river. Return to mission, lunch, rest, time at the orphanage center, rest. Dinner.
Day 4
Date : March 21, 2026
Breakfast, visit with the children in the orphanage, lunch. Around 1 pm, walk to the John Paul II school and medical clinic run by the MOP Brothers. At the school, we will pack food parcels for poor women from the nearby slums, help serve a meal, and distribute food. At the end of the gathering, the women always bid us farewell with a beautiful dance and song in their native Swahili language. Return to the mission, rest, and dinner.
Day 5
Date : March 22, 2026
Breakfast, Holy Mass at 10 am with the children in the orphanage, help feed the children, lunch, departure for a performance of traditional African dances, visit to African tribal villages. Dinner at Java House restaurant (not included in the price – approx. $15–$20 per person) and shopping for souvenirs. Return to the mission around 8 pm.
Day 6
Date : March 23, 2026
Wake-up call at 5 am, breakfast, 6 am departure to Masai Mara National Park. Stop at the beautiful Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrival at the resort on the Mara River, lunch around 1:30 pm, check-in, and rest. Around 4 pm, departure for safari “Game Drive.” Dinner around 7–8 pm. Our drivers/guides are excellent – no matter the season, we always see plenty of animals. The guides are certified with great experience and priceless knowledge – they will answer every question.
Day 7
Date : March 24, 2026
Masai Mara National Park. Breakfast at dawn, early morning “Game Drive,” return to the resort around 1 pm, lunch, rest (pool, walk, possibility of massage at additional cost). Around 4 pm, another “Game Drive” to watch the animals at sunset. Dinner around 8 pm/bonfire.
Day 8
Date : March 25, 2026
Breakfast around 8 am, departure from the resort around 9:30 am, visit to a Maasai village (dance with the tribe, tour of the village, houses, learning about Maasai culture and traditions), lunch at Artlife Café (not included in the price). Accommodation at Naivasha Sopa Lodge, dinner.
Day 9
Date : March 26, 2026
Breakfast, departure from the hotel around 9 am, sightseeing around Lake Naivasha – opportunity to see hippos in their natural habitat. We will take a boat ride to admire the lake and its beautiful, rich nature. We will also stop for a hike in Hell’s Gate National Park. Along the way, we’ll see giraffes, antelopes, and many other species. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation in a hotel in central Nairobi (IBIS hotel or similar in a very safe district).
Day 10
Date : March 27, 2026
Accommodation in a hotel – breakfast, excursion to a beautiful tea plantation run by the same family for generations. Our guide and owner will take us around, share the process of tea production, harvesting, the history of tea, and many other curiosities. At the end, a delicious lunch and freshly brewed tea while enjoying breathtaking views of the tea fields. Next stop: Karen Blixen Museum (“Out of Africa”). Return to hotel/rest, dinner at hotel or in town.
Day 11
Date : March 28, 2026
Accommodation in a hotel – breakfast, excursion to a coffee plantation (a very interesting tour – the guide will tell the history of coffee, different types, harvesting and brewing process, and there will be a tasting of freshly brewed coffee). Lunch at a local restaurant, shopping for coffee/tea, and souvenirs/free time. Return to the hotel, dinner at the hotel or in town.
Day 12
Date : March 29, 2026
Departure
Breakfast. For those who wish: Holy Mass at the Basilica. Historical walking tour of Nairobi city center with a private guide (2–5 hours): Jevangee Garden, City Market, Kenyatta International Center with panoramic views of the city. Return to the hotel to pick up luggage, and transfer to the airport at 7 pm. Departure around 11:30 pm. Transfer in Europe or Doha.

Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
Currently, the Yellow Fever or COVID-19 vaccine is not required. We always take malaria medication. I recommend consulting your family doctor or a travel clinic. I am, of course, available for help.
