Is Travel With Purpose a nonprofit?
We’re not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but we partner with ministries and missions that are. This means parts of your trip may be tax-deductible, depending on your purpose and destination. We recommend speaking with a tax professional for clarification.
What should I pack?
Each trip has a unique packing list tailored to the destination and purpose. After registering, you’ll receive a detailed trip guide including what to pack, safety tips, and what to expect.
Where will I stay/ what are the accommodations like?
While on a mission trip, accommodations will be provided at volunteer houses located on the mission grounds or at missionary monasteries. These are simple but comfortable, community-oriented living spaces that allow us to stay close to the people we’re serving and experience the daily life of the mission.
During the pilgrimage trips, we will be staying in hotels that our leaders have carefully selected. These accommodations are chosen for your comfort, safety, and proximity to key pilgrimage sites, ensuring a restful and meaningful travel experience.
